Where is Armenia?
Armenia is located in South Caucasus. It is bordered by Georgia to the north, by Iran and Azerbaijan to the south, by Turkey to the west. The current territory of the Republic of Armenia is 29800 square km and is situated about 1800 m above sea level. The highest point is Mount Aragats (4090 m), the lowest –the valley of the Debed river (400 m). Yerevan is the capital of the country.
